ENVIRON opens Boise, Idaho, Office - Fred Boelter relocates to Idaho.
In response to a growing geographic need for expert consulting services in the mountain states, ENVIRON is pleased to announce the opening of the firm’s office in Boise, Idaho. According to Frank Marrazza, President of ENVIRON’s North America Division, “The Boise office brings ENVIRON’s full range of services closer to our clients in the region, under the direction of Fred Boelter, a seasoned consultant with a proven track record helping clients resolve challenging environmental engineering, occupational health and risk-related issues.”
Fred Boelter has relocated from ENVIRON’s Chicago office to spearhead the new Boise office opening. Although he will be based in Idaho, Fred’s projects and relationships in the Chicago area, as well as around the world, will carry on without interruption.
Fred Boelter, CIH, PE, BCEE, has over 40 years of experience in industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, risk characterization and risk management. Specific areas of expertise include source-pathway-receptor analysis, risk-based assessments and closure plans, air quality management in the built environment, exposure reconstruction, statistical analyses and modeling. He has investigated and designed controls for a wide range of issues involving air, water, soil and occupational hygiene from the perspective of stakeholder communities, private industry and federal regulatory agencies. He has provided expert services on a range of matters related to exposure assessment and risk assessment. Fred is a Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and a recipient of the Edward J. Baier Technical Achievement Award. He was trained as an environmental engineer at Purdue University.
