Thirteen Franklin Energy Staff Become BPI Multifamily Certified
PORT WASHINGTON, Wisconsin, Jun. 21 - /EWire/ --
Franklin Energy Services, LLC, a leading national energy efficiency program implementation firm, announced today that thirteen staff members recently received their Building Performance Institute (BPI) Multifamily Building Analyst certifications, adding to its existing BPI credentialed staff. BPI is recognized as the nation's premier standards development and credentialing organization for residential energy efficiency retrofit work.
Understanding the importance of keeping its staff current on energy efficiency practices and technologies, Franklin Energy contracted Andy Padian to teach the course to veteran employees who support the implementation of multifamily energy efficiency programs. Padian is the Vice President for Energy Initiatives for The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC), a not-for-profit affordable housing lender throughout NY, NJ, and CT. He sits on the Board of Directors for GreenHomeNYC, has 30 years of experience in the unique building science of multifamily buildings, and has performed detailed energy analysis on thousands of buildings across the country.
On working with seasoned building experts in the classroom and field, Padian said this about the recent BPI training:
"Franklin Energy's multifamily staff is among the best I have found in the business. Their commitment to quality and continuous training is a model for other companies to follow."
Franklin Energy believes the rigors of the weeklong BPI multifamily training required great employee focus and discipline, and trusts that the knowledge and experience they gained through the course will transfer to their ability to better serve multifamily customers on behalf of utility clients.
