Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

1. Who we are

eWire is operated by Technetwork 2 LLC dba ai.ventures (“eWire,” “we,” “us”). For questions about this policy, contact privacy@ewire.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email, company, role, billing details (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).
  • Press release content — the drafts you submit, AI-generated revisions, scorecards, and metadata (headline, dateline, contact info you choose to publish).
  • Usage data — pages viewed, features used, API calls. Collected via first-party analytics (Google Analytics 4, property G-JQGTG6HHXJ).
  • Communications — emails you send us and support requests.

3. How we use it

  • Provide, operate, and improve the eWire service.
  • Draft, score, and distribute press releases on your behalf.
  • Send transactional email (account, billing, distribution receipts).
  • Detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Press releases are public

Press releases you publish through eWire are intended for public distribution. Once published, content — including any contact info you include — is syndicated to news outlets, indexed by search engines, and may be cached by third parties. You can request takedown, but distributed copies may persist.

5. Sharing

We share information with:

  • Distribution partners — to syndicate published releases (EIN Presswire, NewswireJet, and similar outlet networks).
  • Infrastructure providers — Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Anthropic and OpenAI (AI drafting and scoring). Each operates under their own privacy terms.
  • Legal requests — when required by law, valid subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information.

6. AI processing

Draft text you submit is sent to large language model providers (currently Anthropic Claude) for drafting and scoring. We use providers' zero-retention or no-training APIs where available. Scorecards generated from your drafts are stored in our database; we strip contact PII from scorecards before persistence.

7. Data retention

We retain account information for the life of your account plus 12 months. Published press releases are retained indefinitely (they are part of the public record). Unpublished drafts are deleted 90 days after last edit.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete personal information by emailing privacy@ewire.com. If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively, including the right to portability and the right to object to processing. We respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and a small number of analytics cookies (GA4). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children

eWire is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

We will post material changes here and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
