Nike and Aveda Sponsored Race to Stop Global Warming Enters Its Third Year

OREGON, PORTLAND, Mar. 6 -/E-Wire/-- Green House Network’s 2002 Race to Stop Global Warming is the environment's premier series of awareness raising Earth Day-related 8K Runs and 5K Walks that includes a FREE Children’s Fun Run, Diaper Dash, and Toddler Trot.

Race to Stop Global Warming is more than just a run and walk. It is a place where people representing all facets of life can gather under one banner and show their support for taking care of that which makes it all possible - Planet Earth.

Green House Network’s 2002 Race to Stop Global Warming series will be in Denver on April 14, Portland on April 28, the Twin Cities on May 18, Seattle on September 29, and Boston TBD.

Sponsored by companies who are actively developing environmentally aware practices, such as Nike and Aveda, the Race to Stop Global Warming brings the fitness, business, and environmental communities together to draw public attention toward creating solutions to global warming in a fun, family-oriented setting.
