Itronics' GOLD'n GRO Fertilizers Featured in Major Agricultural Newsletter

NEVADA, RENO, Feb. 27 -/E-Wire/-- Itronics Inc. (OTCBB:ITRO), a world leader in photochemical recycling, is featured in the current "Western Connection,' the quarterly newsletter of Western Farm Service (WFS), which circulates to approximately 17,000 customers. WFS is one of the largest fertilizer distributors in the West and offers Itronics' GOLD'n GRO product line.

Itronics is "helping contribute to a cleaner environment with a unique new line of high-quality liquid fertilizers' sold under the brand name GOLD'n GRO, the newsletter says. This fertilizer meets the "tighter regulations being considered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Department of Food and Agriculture.'

The article says that Western Farm's Alpaugh plant in the San Joaquin Valley of California has geared up to produce GOLD'n GRO fertilizers. "While product introductions have centered around turf and ornamentals, more emphasis is being placed on meeting agricultural needs for crops such as berries and most fruit trees,' the newsletter says. "Liquid nutrition programs are also being developed for citrus and wine grapes.'

Itronics recycles from sources such as hospitals, photo processing centers and data storage companies, the article says, and, after recovering silver and removing other heavy metals, the resulting "base liquid' is formulated into GOLD'n GRO.

"The technology developed by Itronics represents recycling at its best. GOLD'n GRO products are environmentally compatible and meet future needs. The end result is that everyone wins,' the article concludes.
