FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ESW's Clean Cat Diesel Catalytic Converter Achieves OEM Status in the Philippines

PENNSYLVANIA, TELFORD, May. 23 -/E-Wire/-- Environmental Solutions Worldwide, Inc. (ESW) (OTC BB: ESWW), the company is pleased to announce today that ESW was successful in achieving OEM status for the Clean Cat® diesel catalytic converter as the standard Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) emissions control device for the "Engine Replacement Program" of the Natural Resources and Development Corporation in the Philippines. The Natural Resources and Development Corporation is the corporate arm of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the Philippine government's environmental agency.

Through approximately 18 months of comprehensive testing and evaluation by a third party, ESW's Clean Cat diesel catalytic converter consistently demonstrated its ability to reduce harmful diesel engine emissions including hydrocarbon (HC), carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon particulate matter (PM-10).

The Philippine Engine Replacement Program has been formally launched and is scheduled to commence immediately. It will encompass all currently registered vehicles that are qualified for participation. ESW's Clean Cat diesel catalytic converter is now qualified to be installed as the OEM emissions reduction component with all engine replacements.*

The performance of the Clean Cat converter was documented utilizing over-the-road driving conditions by testing various types of diesel engine powered vehicles using diesel fuel with very high sulpher content (2000- parts per million or PPM). The current diesel pump fuel used in North America by comparison only contains on average of approximately 350-PPM sulpher. The Company's unique proprietary substrate technology clearly demonstrated its advantages over the long-term use of conventional, honeycomb, flow-through ceramic diesel oxidation substrates under these conditions.

"We are pleased to see the acceptance of our Clean Cat diesel catalytic converter in the Philippines after such a long and thorough testing process by a third party," said Bengt Odner, chairman of ESW. "The benefit to ESW is that we have already received a request for a pro-forma invoice to provide our product to this program. This is just one of many test and evaluation programs we are currently involved with in several countries. It is very exciting to see our proprietary diesel catalytic products performing so well while being tested side-by-side with conventional ceramic-based diesel catalytic products."
