San Francisco Celebrates the Best in Innovation at The Economist Inaugural Innovation Awards and Summit September 18th
CALIFORNIA, SAN FRANCISCO, Sep. 9 -/E-Wire/Business Wire/-- The San Francisco Bay Area has long been hailed as the center of innovation.
Few regions on earth attract the diverse brainpower, creativity, idealism and ambition that make the Bay Area such a rewarding place to live and work.
WHAT: The Economist is holding its inaugural Annual Innovation Awards and Summit on September 18th at the Palace Hotel in downtown San Francisco. This is the only event of its kind focusing on the link between business and innovation.
Through roundtables and presentations, Summit attendees will share their knowledge and learn from others to find new ways of looking at innovation.
Following the Summit, participants will attend an Awards reception to honor those innovators who are revolutionizing their own businesses, and the industries and markets in which they work. Nominated by The Economist's influential readership and a VIP panel of judges, one individual will be selected in each of five categories including bioscience, communications, computing, energy and the environment and nanotechnology.
