FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RCAI Announces the Introduction of its Proprietary Automated Spray Applicator System
CALIFORNIA, LAKE FOREST, Oct. 1 -/E-Wire/-- 2002--Reclamation Consulting & Applications Inc., (OTC BB:RCAA ) today announced the introduction of the new, proprietary automated spray applicator system for its Alderox(TM) ASA-12(TM) asphalt release product.
The fully automated, drive-under application system was designed by the company in response to the industry's need for a system that does not require drivers to manually spray the truck beds. The new system automatically applies the correct amount of Alderox(TM) ASA-12(TM) to the truck bed, with no over-spray. Using the system is as easy as driving over the scales. Further, the automated system takes less than 30 seconds to completely coat a truck bed, saving valuable time for the driver. The company intends to apply for multiple patents on this system.
The development of this system has generated a great deal of interest from the company's larger clients and the first installation is currently scheduled for late October 2002 at a major asphalt plant near Salt Lake City. Assuming the performance of the first system is successful, a number of the company's customers have expressed serious interest in the system. The automated spray applicator system can be used at any asphalt plant where trucks are loaded, of which there are thousands throughout the United States and Canada.
RCAI created its Alderox(TM) ASA-12(TM) product for one of the western state's Department of Transportation as a "ready-to-use" asphalt release agent that does not require any dilution while being 100% natural, biodegradable and environmentally friendly. One of the largest producers of asphalt in the United States, a current customer and user of Alderox(TM) ASA-12(TM), requested that the company develop this automated system as a means of reducing both costs and potential liabilities. Currently, the primary method of application is a manual rack used with pressure spray wands, which requires driver labor.
Reclamation Consulting & Applications has headquarters in Lake Forest, and operates a manufacturing and distribution center in Salt Lake City. The company specializes in system design, engineering, equipment supply, specialty chemicals and industrial by-product sales throughout North America.
