SeaLife Introduces Revolutionary ProTerra Plant & Soil Rescue For Golf Courses
First Commercial Applications Show a Reduction of Water Requirements up to 40%,
a Reduction of Pesticide and Fertilizer Requirements up to 80% and 90%
CALIFORNIA, CULVER CITY, Jan. 21 -/E-Wire/Business Wire/-- SeaLife Corporation (OTCBB:SLIF) is pleased to announce the commercial introduction of its revolutionary ProTerra Plant & Soil Rescue(TM) For Golf Courses.
ProTerra Plant & Soil Rescue For Golf Courses is a uniquely formulated, environmentally safe soil conditioner developed to enhance turf structure, increase seed viability and correct problems specific to golf course development and maintenance. Employing advanced proprietary technology, ProTerra Plant & Soil Rescue For Golf Courses is designed to improve poor soil conditions (such as soils high in alkalinity and salinity), maintain a well-balanced soil structure and promote vigorous plant growth. By increasing the proliferation of indigenous microorganisms found in soil and thereby advancing beneficial humus production, the blend of nutrients and trace-minerals contained in ProTerra Plant & Soil Rescue has successfully shown in field tests and commercial applications to reduce water requirements up to 40%, reduce pesticide requirements up to 90% and fertilizer requirements up to 80%. Optimizing conventional fertilizers, ProTerra Plant & Soil Rescue For Golf Courses may be applied to anything that grows. Product has received EPA approval or is exempt from regulation under the Toxic Control Act (TCA).
Robert McCaslin, CEO of SeaLife Corporation, stated, "We are looking to capture a significant market share of the 1 billion dollar golf course turf management and maintenance market in the United States alone. With water usage, pesticide and fertilizer applications accounting for more than 40% of turf management costs, the cost-saving benefits of ProTerra Plant & Soil Rescue For Golf Courses are proving a tremendous incentive for all municipal and private golf courses. In light of initial sales and the many application areas for our product, we intend to pursue additional targeted markets in the near future, domestically as well as internationally."
SeaLife Corporation(TM), an environmental biotech company and the exclusive owner of its proprietary technology designed to solve forms of environmental pollution, is also the developer and manufacturer of SeaLife Anti-Foul Paints -- uniquely formulated, environmentally safe, anti-foul, anti-corrosive coatings for the commercial maritime industry, the military, and the recreational boat owner. The company's proprietary technology, the result of 12 years of research conducted by prominent laboratories in the United States and Europe, has made it possible to effectively replace the commonly used anti-fouling agent Tributyl tin (TBT), a toxic compound banned globally as of January 1, 2003. SeaLife Corporation(TM) is able to provide its customers with 2003-compliant anti-foul coatings that meet the stringent requirements of The International Maritime Organization (IMO), The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and local EPA agencies. SeaLife Corporation will continue to introduce new quality products based on its innovative enviro-technology, offering simple, economic solutions to the complex problems of environmental pollution.
