Duke Solar and TopEcology Form Strategic Alliance

Unique Collaboration Brings a Totally Natural and Eco-Friendly Solution to

Clean Water, Energy and Waste Water Management

NORTH CAROLINA, RALEIGH, Mar. 27 -/E-Wire/Business Wire/-- Duke Solar Energy, LLC and TopEcology (K.K. and International) announced that they will jointly design, build and distribute advanced solar-thermal desalination and water purification systems.

Initially, the two companies plan to integrate TopEcology's revolutionary Aqua Kids desalination technology and water purification technology with Duke Solar's highly efficient solar thermal technologies.

"We are very excited about this collaboration," said Kris Fukuda, President of TopEcology International. "Duke Solar's technology will provide us with reliable and renewable heat and power allowing our desalination and clean water technologies to be installed anywhere fresh, safe water is needed."

TopEcology's mission is to solve water issues that are affecting countries around the world. Their state-of-the-art, all natural research and development efforts address phytoremediation issues through their BioPark system, insufficient fresh water through the Aqua Kids solar powered desalination, and water reclamation through applied ecoengineering. Top Ecology recently expanded its operation through the launch of TopEcology International in the United States.
