Sapphos Environmental, Inc. Increases Analyst Strength

CALIFORNIA, PASADENA, Mar. 28 -/E-Wire/Business Wire/-- Pasadena-based Sapphos Environmental, Inc. today announced the addition of two new environmental analysts to the firm. Lou McNairy, MS, joins Sapphos Environmental, Inc. as Senior Environmental Analyst, and Andre Anderson, MS, REA, CES, joins the firm as a hazards expert and project manager.

Mr. McNairy brings to Sapphos Environmental, Inc. 30 years of experience in managing environmental impact assessment projects in California and internationally. He has successfully completed numerous environmental studies pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the federal and state California Endangered Species Acts, Section 1600 of the State Fish and Game Code, Sections 401 and 404 of the federal Clean Water Act, analogous international regulations, and many others. His project experience includes preparation of complex technical studies and completion of environmental compliance documents for projects facing multiple regulatory constraints. Mr. McNairy joined the staff in April 2002, and has been building and managing the environmental analysis (EA) group for Sapphos Environmental, Inc. Since joining the firm, Sapphos Environmental, Inc.'s EA group has doubled in size.

He received his MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California, and he brings 21 years of experience in providing Phase I, II, and III environmental assessments, underground storage tank installation and removal, soil and groundwater sampling and remediation, indoor air quality studies, radon gas surveys, lead-based paint surveys, hazardous materials management, and regulatory compliance services to clients in the public and private sectors.
