TitleCerOx Corporation Adds Fred Webber to the Board
Former ACC President joins CerOx Board of Directors
CALIFORNIA, SANTA MARIA, Apr. 21 -/E-Wire/-- CerOx Corporation announced today that Mr. Fred Webber, the former CEO of the American Chemistry Council (ACC), has joined the Board of Directors of CerOx Corporation.
Mr. Webber recently retired as CEO and President of the ACC, a post he held for almost ten years. The ACC is the advocacy arm of the chemical industry, and its 180 members represent virtually every notable company in the chemical industry. In Mr. Webber's tenure at the ACC, he spent a great deal of time working on the industry's public issues, including hazardous waste production and disposition. Mr. Webber became keenly aware of the industry's desire for cleaner and more environmentally friendly technologies to treat industrial waste streams.
As a board member of CerOx, Mr. Webber will play a direct role in the commercialization of the CerOx Technology. Mr. G. Anthony Steward, CerOx's CEO, stated "The addition of Fred Webber to our Board helps to underline the desire of the chemical industry to move to technology based, environmentally friendly solutions for many of their waste disposal problems". Mr. Steward added, "We look forward to working with Fred to bring this powerful new technology to the marketplace".
