The Internet-based ordering platform was developed using proprietary software specifically suited to IMPCO's wide range of distributors located worldwide. The system will allow IMPCO customers to look up products and pricing, place orders, select multiple ship-to points, check order status and delivery schedules, as well as review previous orders and shipments. The company's ongoing plans for increased levels of customer service are aided by new Internet technologies that reduce order cycle times and errors, and to provide environmental products to customers faster.

Mr. Dennis Hartman, Vice President and General Manager of the Gaseous Fuel Products Division (GFPD) located in Cerritos, California, said, "A year and a-half ago IMPCO implemented a program to digitize the company's technical and marketing materials, primarily for use on the Internet, but with an overriding environmental reason to reduce printed material waste. The new B2B platform allows us to change, alter and upgrade our product catalogs, price lists and specials without the need for reprinting.
