BPI's "Compostable Logo"effort is featured in the American Environmental Review Series

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, Apr. 23 -/E-Wire/-- The Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) announced today that is "Compostable Logo" effort is profiled in the American Environmental Review series. The Series is hosted by Morley Safer and features technologies and services that have the potential to significantly help the environment. The BPI segment features its new symbol that makes it easier for consumers and others to identify biodegradable plastics-ones that will compost quickly and completely-just like yard trimmings and food scraps.

"The American Environmental Review series is an ideal way to build consumer awareness of biodegradable plastics around the world and the role they can play in today's society," stated Steve Mojo, BPI Executive Director. "We are extremely excited to be a featured guest on the series", Mojo added
