Eni S.p.A Signs Produced Water Technology Trial Contract for EARTH's (Canada) TORRâ¢
CANADA, Apr. 29 -/E-Wire/-- Environmental Applied Research Technology House â EARTH (Canada) Corporation [TSX-V: EAR.V] is pleased to announce that it has agreed with Eni, the Italian oil company, a technology trial to be held in two oil production plants in Italy.
EARTH offers to Eni advanced oil/water separation technologies to answer new needs in the technology of produced water treatments. The target is to optimize the recovery and recycling of extracted oil as well as reducing overall treatment costs and improve environmental performance.
Tests have already been conducted at EARTH's facilities on a produced water sample from their oil plants and where pilot tests are scheduled.
Once the field tests will be completed, and the TORRâ° technology validated, several applications for oily water treatment will be potentially suitable for the TORRâ° technology in other countries worldwide where Eni E&P; division operates on-shore and off-shore activities.
The field trials started this last winter and will last for approximately 4 months.
