Soy Technologies, LLC Announces Acquisition

FLORIDA, DELRAY BEACH, Jul. 3 -/E-Wire/-- Soy Technologies, LLC announced today the successful completion of it's acquisition of certain assets from Soy Technologies, Inc. Also announced was the appointment of Randall M. Frees as President/CEO, and Robert M. Denton as Senior Vice President.

Soy Technologies is one the leading developers of environmentally friendly bio-based solvents and cleaning products designed to replace traditional petrochemicals in various applications. The company has developed products that are safe for the user, safe in storage and transportation, safe for the environment, and with performance that equals or exceeds the replacements in most applications. The product line ranges from 'SoyDerm' hand cleaners, to 'SoyGreen', a line of industrial and consumer solvents which are cost effective alternatives for degreasing, paint and graffiti removal, and stripping polyurethanes, replacing methylene chloride.

Frees held several senior management positions with Tele-Tech Company, Inc., a technology company acquired by Alcoa-Fujikura, Ltd. "In a short period of time, we have developed a very effective and exciting line of products, but lacked the experience and capital to effectively bring the products to market," said Bob Denton, one of the founders of Soy Technologies, Inc., and now Senior Vice President responsible for product development for the new company. "Mr. Frees has a strong background in growing companies and creating shareholder value, and is part of a investment group that provides both the necessary capital and expertise required to bring our products to market, as well as continue the development of our new applications. We are delighted to have him on board."
