Moldreport Announces the Opening of new LA County Lab

One of Industry's Top Mold Labs - AHL - Expands to Better Serve Clients

CALIFORNIA, LOS ANGELES, Jul. 16 -/E-Wire/-- American Home Laboratories, Inc. (AHL) announced the opening of its third laboratory today. AHL's newest laboratory is located in Glendale, California (LA County) and marks the company's third California location which includes laboratories in Northern California and San Diego.

The new laboratory will be staffed by employees from the parent company EMLab's AIHA accredited San Diego facility. This will ensure that the work performed by the Glendale lab will continue to meet the high quality standards that AHL clients have come to rely upon. The new lab will operate using the same strict protocols and quality control standards as the company's other facilities.

"AHL is already quickly becoming the standard in mold interpretive reporting, and utilizing the only laboratory currently with two AIHA EMLAP accredited locations, further solidifies AHL's position as the leading mold investigative system in North America," said Leslie Boggs, AHL's Vice-President. "By opening the Glendale laboratory, AHL is continuing to anticipate the needs of our clients and continuing to provide high quality analysis, service, and reporting."

EMLab, AHL's parent company, recently announced the accreditation of their San Diego laboratory by the American Industrial Hygiene Association's (AIHA) EMLAP program for environmental microbiology. The AIHA accreditation applies to the analysis of mold and bacteria in their San Diego laboratory and follows the accreditation of their Northern California laboratory making EMLab the only microbiology lab in North America to hold two AIHA EMLAP accreditations in fungal and bacterial analyses.

Accreditation from AIHA is highly sought after from laboratories because when a laboratory is accredited by AIHA, the laboratory and its clients have the assurance that the laboratory has met defined standards for performance based on examination of a variety of criteria. When a laboratory is accredited by AIHA, it becomes part of an elite group of laboratories achieving and maintaining a high level of professional performance.

American Home Laboratories, Inc. (AHL) partnered with top indoor air quality professionals to develop MoldREPORT™.
