New CEO of Nuclear Solutions Issues Initial Statement

WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, Jul. 22 -/E-Wire/-- Nuclear Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: NSOL) recently appointed Patrick Herda as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Herda today issued his first public statement concerning his leadership and vision for the company's future. The text of his statement follows:

"Prior to this recent appointment, I served as Vice President of Business Development and a board member for Nuclear Solutions. I look forward to applying my educational background, technological expertise and industry experience to exceed the expectations of the Company's shareholders.

"My mission as CEO is to ensure we are carrying out a business strategy that will increase the value of the company. Originally, Nuclear Solutions was focused on one promising technology, and the potential for that technology remains. Key management has expanded on that mission, and I am proud to say we have added and will continue to add technologies to our portfolio, thereby increasing shareholder value.

"Following is a brief summary of our operational strategy:

"Nuclear Solutions is engaging in research, development and commercialization of proprietary and innovative technologies, responding to the needs and opportunities of the 21st Century. We seek to develop, license, or acquire such technologies through internal development and through association with eminent research and development organizations, including the national laboratories of the United States and other appropriate governments, and through major industrial laboratories. We will also maintain and expand our association with prominent scientists in our fields of interest around the world.

"We continuously identify, screen, and evaluate selected technologies as to their potential for development into unique proprietary solutions that would be price- and performance-competitive in particular marketplaces. Such designs are then developed to the point that they may be licensed, joint-ventured, sold to an industrial or governmental entity, or otherwise commercialized.

"We will leave the project implementation, manufacturing and deployment to those partners and other industrial and government entities. Nuclear Solutions benefits from the licensure, royalty and other usage agreements associated with our products. I believe this is the highest leverage of the Company's assets for growth, stability, profit and return on investment.

"Presently, the Company is pursuing the following proprietary technology projects. A brief project summary:

- For homeland security â development of a nuclear materials tracking and telemetry capability.

- For government and the nuclear power industry â development of a tritiated water remediation system and transmutation of nuclear waste.

- For the defense, aerospace and nanotechnology communities â development of nuclear micropower generation capabilities.

- For the nanotechnology community â marketing of a laser nano-machining system.
