Green Star Products, Inc. -- GSPI -- Enters Biodiesel Fuel Car in 2003 Challenge Bibendum

GSPI Joins with Michelin Again to Showcase Advanced Technologies

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, Sep. 17 -/E-Wire/Business Wire/-- Green Star Products, Inc. (OTC US: GSPI) is preparing an advanced technology vehicle to participate in the 2003 Challenge Bibendum organized and hosted by the Michelin Group. The GSPI team -- representing the company's leadership in ultra-clean emissions, alternative fuels, alternative fuel and oil filters and advanced fuel and oil additives -- is entering a vehicle certified for regular commercial use by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US-EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for regular highway use.

"We look forward to the Challenge Bibendum as a way to share the progress GSPI continues to make in advanced transportation technologies," said Joseph LaStella, President of GSPI. "At GSPI, we feel real world experience is critical to the advancement and acceptance of our technologies."

A number of GSPI Technologies will be demonstrated by modifying a 2000 VW Golf TDI Diesel with 50,000 miles:

"Volkswagen (VW) makes some of the best diesel engines in the world and with GSPI's technologies the VW TDI engine may raise the bar on clean burning miles per gallon," said Joseph LaStella, President of GSPI. Mr. LaStella also stated that, "The most striking thing is that the VW Golf TDI Diesel is available now at dealerships across the country. VW is doing excellent work to put drivers who enjoy being behind the wheel of environmentally positive vehicles. We, at GSPI, are glad to have the opportunity to demonstrate our technologies on such a fine stock car."

In keeping with the company's commitment to environmental technology leadership, GSPI has consistently led the industry in meeting new emissions requirements.

CHALLENGE BIBENDUM, considered one of the premier global events for advanced technology vehicles, was established by the Michelin Group as an objective way to bring together and test the best available technologies for environmentally positive vehicles. The annual event features vehicles from major manufacturers on three continents and brings together all partners in the automotive world: vehicle manufacturers, designers, energy suppliers, technical leaders, policy makers, universities and government organizations.

The 2003 Challenge Bibendum will be held in Sonoma and San Francisco, Calif., Sept. 23-25. More than 100 passenger and commercial vehicles are expected to participate. GSPI is proud to be a participant along with: Audi, BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Hyundai, Isuzu Truck, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo and Volvo Truck.

A true competition, Challenge Bibendum is one of the few events to compare different advanced technologies head-to-head. The event is open to all energy sources from electric cars to hybrid fuel cells, biodiesel fueled cars to hydrogen-powered buses. Advanced technology vehicles are rated on emissions, acceleration, braking, handling, noise and energy efficiency during the annual competition.
