EarthCare Company Reaches Settlement in Arbitration Proceedings With World Fuel Services
TEXAS, DALLAS, Mar. 15 -/E-Wire/-- EarthCare Company (Nasdaq: ECCO) today announced it has reached a settlement in its arbitration proceedings with World Fuel Services (NYSE: INT) related to EarthCare's acquisition of World Fuel Services' oil-recycling segment in February 2000.
With the settlement, EarthCare and World Fuel Services have resolved their differences with respect to the sale, dismissed all pending proceedings and released each other from all other obligations arising from the sale. As part of the negotiated settlement involving working capital and other claims, EarthCare agreed to remit $1.75 million to World Fuel Services.
