Pearl Asian Mining Industries Announces Silver Exploration Acquisition

CANADA, Mar. 22 -/E-Wire/-- The Pearl Asian Mining Industries. (Pink Sheets: PAMJF) announces the acquisition of silver exploration mining claims known as Panama, Jo-Jo, Miner Boy, London Hill, Silver Glance and Empress mining properties, in the Slocan Mining Division in British Colombia. PAMJF acquired 100% of the shares of Western Pacific Minerals, Ltd. as a part of the aquisition.

According to the Sellers of these claims, although the type and size of potential reserves is unknown some of the 49 claims have shown historically from 3,565 tons of ore, to yield 229,556 ounces of silver, 46 ounces of gold, 53,690 pounds of lead, and 2,026 pounds of copper.

PAMJF is considering exploring these claims beginning June, 2004.

About PAMJF: PAMJF acquires large blocks of mining exploration companies, owns 20 undeveloped acres in Hawaii, and has entered into an agreement to put back into production the Paracale Mine located in the Southern Luzon Islands of the Philippines, at Santa Rosa, Jose Panganiban in the Province of Camarines Norte.

The Paracale Gold Mining Site, first discovered in 1939, is one of the richest mining regions in the Philippines. Previous production exceeded 650,000 tons of ore in the five years of operation prior to 1995. The Paracale Gold Project consists of eight open pit mines and two underground mines. There is currently more than 41,000 tons of excavated ore available for processing. The refurbishing and uplifting of the Ball Mill Plant and machinery is scheduled to commence this year, with the first "Gold Bullion" delivery estimated to begin on or before July 2004.
