TO ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDITORS:
Energy Show Held During National Energy Crisis...Positive Solutions for
Business and Industry Explored
NEW JERSEY, ATLANTIC CITY, Mar. 20 -/E-Wire/-- As the Nation battles with a growing energy crisis including higher prices and rolling blackouts, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) along with host PSEG Energy Technologies will hold one of the largest energy shows in the Northeast next week, March 29-30, 2001 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, Hall B, Atlantic City, NJ.
Here, energy experts, policy makers, energy customers, and utility executives will meet to discuss the industry, the impact on the economy and ways businesses can reduce their energy costs and improve their operations.
According to Brian Douglas, Director of E-commerce & Events for AEE, "the show could not be held at a better time. With the Bush administration developing a National Energy Policy, the GLOBALCON event will demonstrate advance technologies and services available today to help commercial, institutional and industrial customers dramatically reduce their energy expense and see an accelerated return on their investment.'
President Bush yesterday declared, "The energy crunch we're in is a supply-and-demand issue. And we need to reduce demand and increase supply.' In an interview with CNN, Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham proclaimed that the Bush National Energy policy "will focus on conservation as well as production.'
