A & H Consulting: On-Shore Alternative to Off-Shoring Customer Support Services PortworX

DALLAS, TEXAS, Apr. 7 -/E-Wire/-- A & H Consulting announces the launch of a solution for SAP enterprise software that cost effectively provides real time information. PortworX(TM) extracts and presents specific customer requested information directly from the SAP underlying data base and makes it immediately available over the internet. This innovative product makes it possible to provide user access to information without needing to add SAP user licenses.

Previously when a company considered a strategy of providing internet access (portals) to information, all options required them to also purchase an SAP user application license for each defined user. A&H; Consulting's Hans Koehlmos developed and designed PortworX(TM) to interact directly with the data base and avoid using the SAP application. His design uses established and proven technologies to read data from a data base, format it, and present it over the internet. The key to this development is his 20 plus years of experience and knowledge working with the SAP data model and table relationships. With this, he was able to accomplish something thought undoable -- extract valid business information, in real time, out of the data base.

"This application was not designed to compete with the broad SAP functionality, but instead, to provide an alternative method of getting to specific business content," says Hans Koehlmos, SVP of A&H; Consulting, Inc. "The Customer Self Service (CSS) component of PortworX(TM) was designed to address customer inquiry needs. Generated and interlinked report modules are created to answer common questions received from business customers. I believe customers should get qualified consulting for their money rather than spending it on conventional off-shore development that is overshadowed with communication hassles and unproven long tern support services."
