MHF Logistical Solutions Appoints Gene Gleason as Vice President, Sales

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, Apr. 15 -/E-Wire/-- MHF Logistical Solutions Inc. (MHF-LS), transportation, packaging and materials handling specialists serving industry and government, said today that Gene Gleason has been appointed its vice president, sales. (Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20030505/PHM061LOGO ) Gleason, a veteran of the transportation, energy and environmental industries who has held senior management positions with government agencies and businesses, was program manager of MHF-LS' nuclear group prior to his promotion.

In his new role, Gleason now manages all sales and sales support activities for the company's line of products and services, including transportation, packaging, technical services, equipment and transload facilities.

"Gene has been a significant factor in our success, especially in the nuclear arena," said John Evanko, MHF-LS president and CEO. "With his new responsibilities, we expect him to be a real catalyst for our continued growth."

Evanko noted that Gleason is widely respected in the transportation, energy and environmental industries. "The people and organizations we serve know Gene to be an insightful analyst and excellent manager. I am delighted that he has accepted a larger role on our management team."

Before joining MHF-LS in 2001 as a business development manager, Gleason held positions for Envirocare of Utah, Inc., The New York State Energy Office and The National Science Foundation.

Gleason is a graduate of the Senior Executive Fellows Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He also holds a M.A. degree in political science from the State University of New York (Albany). His undergraduate work was done at Villanova University.

Gleason has been active in numerous professional and civic organizations, including the American Nuclear Society and Geophysical Society of America. He is past chairman of the New York State Executive Coordinating Committee for Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management and served on the New York State Disaster Preparedness Commission.

He also served in the United States Air Force.

Gleason and his family are re-locating from Tucson, Arizona, to the Pittsburgh region.
