Earth Day Design Contest for Pro-Environmental Nonprofits is Announced by Neenah Paper
Second Annual 'Design for the Environment Contest'
Recognizes Outstanding Graphic Design Work
ROSWELL, GEORGIA, Apr. 19 -/E-Wire/-- In support of Earth Day and to recognize graphic design work among non-profit, pro-environmental organizations, Neenah Paper is seeking entries for its second annual "Design for the Environment Contest."
The contest asks graphic designers to submit examples of brochures, letterhead, annual reports or other printed materials developed for non-profit, environmental organizations and printed on Neenah ENVIRONMENTÃ Paper or other uncoated paper with recycled fiber.
Materials will be judged for overall look, layout, use of color and use of environmentally responsible paper. The winning designer will receive $1,000 in cash, $1,000 for a designated non-profit environmental organization, plus three cases of 8 ½" x 11" FSC- (Forest Stewardship Council) certified ENVIRONMENTà Paper from Neenah Paper. Winners of the second and third place design awards will each receive a $500 cash award, $500 for their designated non-profit environmental organization, and three cases of 8 ½" x 11" FSC-certified ENVIRONMENTà Paper.
To enter the "Design for the Environment" Contest, graphic designers can visit www.neenahpaper.com/earth for official rules and entry requirements. All entries must be postmarked by June 30, 2004. The winning designs will be announced in mid July.

"We expect to see dynamic examples of the use of environmental paper through this contest and feel Earth Day is a great time to acknowledge and reward these efforts."
About Neenah Paper In 2003, Neenah Paper received chain-of-custody certification from SmartWood, accredited by FSC, for two colors of paper in its line of ENVIRONMENTÃ Papers. The certification applies to ENVIRONMENTÃ Brand FSC-certified White and Ultra Bright White. FSC-certified paper must contain a minimum of 17.5 percent FSC content, and the remainder must be post-consumer fiber.
