ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, Jun. 9 -/E-Wire/-- ENVIRON is pleased to announce the promotion of the following individuals to Principal of the firm: Fabio Colombo, Steve Dielman, Richard J. Wenning, and Greg Yarwood.

Fabio Colombo, Ph.D., is a new Principal in the Milan, Italy, office. Fabio specializes in litigation support, human health and environmental risk assessments, soil and groundwater assessment and remediation, natural resource damage assessment and liability assessment. A registered Professional Geologist in Italy, Fabio holds a Ph.D. in Hydrogeology from Politecnico University and a B.S. in Geology from Statale University, both in Milan.

Richard J. Wenning is a new Principal in the Emeryville, California, office. Rick specializes in contaminated sediment management and chemical risk assessment, with particular expertise in source identification, exposure modeling, food web modeling, and probabilistic analysis. Rick has an M.E.M. in Ecotoxicology from Duke University, a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Denver, and holds an A.A. in Agriculture & Forestry Management from Sterling College.

Steve Dielman, P.E., P.G., is a new Principal in the Arlington, Virginia, office. Steve specializes in environmental engineering and ground water hydrology, including the assessment and remediation of soil and ground water conditions, with particular expertise in contaminant fate and transport, risk-based corrective action, and liability assessment. A registered Professional Engineer in Maryland and Georgia, a registered Professional Geologist in Alabama, and a Registered Site Manager in North Carolina, he has an M.S.E in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Geology from Eastern Michigan University.

Greg Yarwood, Ph.D., is a new Principal in the Novato, California, office. Greg specializes in atmospheric chemistry, air quality modeling, photochemical model development, interpretation of ambient air quality data, modeling biogenic and mobile source emissions, and emissions inventory development. Greg holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Bath.
