FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Aero-Life Nominated for Prestigious Star of Energy Efficiency Award

ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO, Jun. 15 -/E-Wire/-- aero-life aeration systems, a manufacturer of environmentally friendly wastewater treatment systems for restaurants and food service operations, announced today that it has been nominated to receive a Star of Energy Efficiency Award from the Alliance to Save Energy (ASE), Washington. The award pays tribute to those who have made an exemplary contribution to energy efficiency during the past year.

ASE is a coalition of prominent business, government, environmental and consumer leaders who promote the efficient and clean use of energy worldwide to benefit consumers, the environment, the economy and national security. ASE's Development and Awards Committee will select one or more businesses or institutions from more than 100 candidates to receive the 2004 award. Winners will be announced mid-summer and honored at the 2004 Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony in December. Past award recipients include Consumer Reports/Consumers Union; Frito-Lay, Inc.; Johnson Controls, Inc.; Dr. Armory Lovins, co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Institute; and Sears, Roebuck & Co.

"Statistics around the challenges of treating wastewater are staggering," said Bill Savage, a North Carolina-based renewable energy engineering specialist who nominated aero-life for the award. "The Water Environment Federation projects that the nation's wastewater and drinking water systems will require nearly $2 trillion in funding over the next 20 years. In addition, these systems face an annual gap of $23 billion between current spending and the investment needed to keep aging facilities up to date. aero-life is an ideal candidate for this award because the company's technology offers a cost-effective solution to this nationwide problem."

The aero-life system is a proprietary application of natural aeration that converts food service grease traps into mini wastewater treatment plants by creating a healthy, oxygen-rich environment in which kitchen wastewater can be cleaned and clarified without the use of chemicals. The system enables food service operations to reduce their costs by as much as $10,000 per year. Communities also benefit from reduced city sewer line clogging, reduced burden on treatment facilities, and lower municipal costs.

aero-life currently has systems installed in more than 40 restaurants and food service operations in New Mexico, including local stores of national chains such as Applebee's, Burger King, Church's Chicken, Country Kitchen, Sizzler and Taco Bell. The company is in the process of building a team of distributors to market, install and service its systems nationally.
