ENVIRON appoints Corey Briggs to New England Region

Occupational Health and Safety practice.

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, Jul. 27 -/E-Wire/-- Paul Flaherty, Principal of ENVIRON's Boston, Massachusetts, regional office, is pleased to announce the association of Corey Briggs, CIH, CET, as a Senior Manager responsible for directing ENVIRON's Occupational Safety and Health/Industrial Hygiene practice in the New England region. According to Mr. Flaherty, "Corey's experience and expertise will enhance, strengthen, and expand ENVIRON's existing services to our clients. We are very excited to have an individual of this caliber on the ENVIRON team."

Mr. Briggs has more than 22 years of experience in the fields of industrial hygiene, occupational health, and workplace safety. He has conducted consulting assignments for federal, state, and local agencies as well as a wide variety of private industries, including aerospace, specialty chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, electric utility, manufacturing, pulp and paper, insurance, and commercial real estate throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and South America. He is an American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and is also a National Environmental Training Association (NETA) Certified Environmental Trainer (CET).

For the past five years, Mr. Briggs served as Manager of Industrial Hygiene Services for the Boston Regional office of Clayton Group Services. Prior to that he owned and operated his own consulting firm in Florida, was a Senior OHS Consultant at Arthur D. Little, Inc. , and worked in various positions for IT Corporation.

His technical expertise in industrial hygiene, occupational health, and safety includes:
