Milind Pradhan joins ENVIRON's new Columbus, Ohio, office

COLUMBUS, OHIO, Sep. 21 -/E-Wire/-- Ron Hutchens, Managing Principal of ENVIRON's MidWest operations, is pleased to announce the opening of an ENVIRON office in Columbus, Ohio, and the addition of Milind K. Pradhan, P.E., D.E.E., as a Senior Manager in the new location. Mr. Pradhan comes to ENVIRON from Malcolm Pirnie, Inc., where he successfully led an Environmental Restoration group in Columbus, with a diverse industrial, municipal, and Federal government client base. "We are confident," says Mr. Hutchens, "that his strength and experience in ENVIRON's core practice areas will enhance the firm's ability to extend its geographic base in the MidWest, where the demand for these services is high."

Mr. Pradhan's 18 years of experience in industrial, air, and hazardous waste management encompasses preparing permit applications, developing work plans for remedial investigations, conducting site investigations and feasibility studies, and providing EMS, regulatory compliance, and litigation support to industrial clients. A Diplomate of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers (D.E.E.), Pradhan is a registered P.E. in Ohio and New York and a Certified Professional (CP) under Ohio's Voluntary Action Program. He has completed a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology and an M.S. and doctoral-level coursework in Environmental Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Highlights of his professional experience include:

Managing ISO 14001/EMS projects for numerous industrial clients that included training, development, planning, implementation, and internal auditing.

Managing numerous multi-site, multi-state due diligence environmental site assessments.

Conducting regulatory compliance assessments and audits, including developing risk-based audit frequency schemes.

Conducting comprehensive facility siting and permitting for power generation facilities in the MidWest.

Managing complex RCRA Closures/Corrective Action/Facility Investigation Projects and Superfund Sites in the Midwest and in USEPA Regions III, IV, and V.
