Indianapolis, Chicago and Beltsville MD Labs now AIHA Accredited for Spore Trap Analysis.

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, Jan. 3 -/E-Wire/--

EMSL Analytical, Inc. is proud to announce that they have just received the esteemed spore trap accreditation from the American Industrial Hygiene Association for their laboratories in Chicago, Indianapolis and Beltsville, MD. This is a new field within AIHA's accreditation program for environmental microbiology. The Accreditation of this facility marks EMSL as the exclusive laboratory in the nation to currently operate eleven AIHA EMLAP Accredited laboratories, seven AIHA ELLAP Accredited lead laboratories, and four AIHA IHLAP accredited laboratories.

When a laboratory is EMLAP Accredited by AIHA, its clients have assurance that the laboratory has met a defined set of performance standards, including personnel qualifications, proficiency under the Environmental Microbiology Proficiency Analytical Testing (EMPAT) program, facilities, quality assurance, records, analytical methods, and laboratory operation procedures (SOPs). Additionally, AIHA accreditation insures that the laboratory is compliant with ISO 17025 policies and procedures.
