ENN Rolls out Monthly 'Special Reports' to Examine Timely Topics in Depth

SAN FRANSISCO, CALIFORNIA, Apr. 1 -/E-Wire/-- In a new effort to supplement its delivery of information that users can apply in meaningful ways to their own lives, the Environmental News Network (ENN) today launched the first of its planned "Special Reports." Each month, the ENN Special Report will bring readers a diverse selection of articles and resources on a specific topic, such as sustainable gardening -- the focus of its debut issue. "ENN is all about empowering its readers through education," says ENN Publisher Jerry Kay. "With our Special Reports we'll be delving deeper than ever before into a dozen topics over the course of a year, providing our audience with practical, useful information."

Each report will include original articles, news, commentaries, radio broadcasts, reprints, interactive elements (polls, quizzes), and links to related resources both on ENN and elsewhere on the Web.

ENN's Special Reports for the remainder of 2005:

May: Eco Travel and Adventure June: Hybrid Automobiles and Transportation July: Corporate Social Responsibility August: Water Conservation September: Healthy Lifestyle October: Alternative Energy November: Two reports: New Technologies / Organic Foods December: Make it a 'Green' Holiday

For more than 10 years, ENN has helped to educate the world about environmental issues. In addition to its website, ENN produces several environmental radio programs that are syndicated across the United States, including EarthNews Radio and ENN Radio, hosted by ENN Publisher, Jerry Kay.
