Mother's Day, Earth Day, World Turtle Day, Father's Day, Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc.

GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA, Apr. 12 -/E-Wire/-- Everyone is looking for a unique gift for that special someone. The gift of an endangered sea turtle not only has panache, but delivers a meaningful message as well. Along with a year-long membership in the Caribbean Conservation Corporation—the oldest and most accomplished sea turtle conservation organization in the world—the recipient will receive a tailor-made adoption kit, including a personalized adoption certificate, introductory newsletter, conservation guide, colorful magnet and logo sticker.

There are two adoption options available:

Satellite-tracked Turtle: The Caribbean Conservation Corporation has several named turtles with satellite transmitters attached to the backs of their shells. This allows us to use space age technology to learn more about their migratory behavior. When you adopt a satellite-tagged turtle, you can track the turtle's movements through our website!

Name-your-own Turtle: With this option, you can adopt one of the many turtles CCC researchers tag on the warm sand beaches of our research station in Costa Rica. With a name-your-own turtle adoption, you are the only person to adopt your turtle and you choose the turtle's name. We will notify you via our newsletter if we see your turtle again.
