Installation First to Qualify for Buy-Down Incentive Program

CAMARILLO, CALIFORNIA, Mar. 29 -/E-Wire/-- Siemens Solar Industries L.P. announced that its first earthsafe(TM) solar energy system has been installed in Los Angeles by GO Solar(R) Company for a San Fernando Valley home. The installation was the first home in Los Angeles to qualify for the L.A. Department of Water and Power's (LA DWP) $5.00 per watt, solar energy buy-down incentive program. Qualified LA DWP customers are able to receive a rebate, substantially reducing the cost of the earthsafe solar electric system.

Graham Owen, owner of GO Solar Company states, "Now that the earthsafe system has been installed, the homeowner is saving about 40% of the home's power usage." Owen added, "The processing of the permit took about 15 minutes and the installation was done in a day -- it was a very smooth and easy process."
