NACHI Approves Nationwide EMSL Analytical, Inc. IAQ / Industrial Hygiene Sampling Workshop
VALLEY FORGE, PENNSYLVANIA, Jul. 22 -/E-Wire/-- NACHI, the nations leading home inspection organization announced today that it has approved the EMSL IAQ / Industrial Hygiene Sampling Workshop for 8 hours of continuing education credits. "Our members will benefit from the training they will receive from this workshop. This workshop not only covers the basic Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and mold sampling techniques but also other issues such vapor intrusion by EPA TO-15, formaldehyde and methamphetamine-clandestine drug production in homes. These are issues that our home inspectors should be aware of.", states Nick Gromicko, Executive Director of NACHI. EMSL Analytical, Inc. is currently the nations leading environmental microbiology and indoor air quality testing laboratory with 13 AIHA EMLAP, 8 AIHA ELLAP and 5 AIHA IHLAP accredited laboratory locations.

This workshop goes beyond the IAQ and microbial issues that other training organizations and laboratories are offering. EMSL realizes the need to offer a combined IAQ / Industrial Hygiene Sampling Workshop to the industry. The workshop has also been approved by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) for 1.0 CM Industrial Hygiene Point, the American Indoor Air Quality Council (AmIAQ) for one certification renewal credit, and the Bomi Institute for 7 CPD points. EMSL is seeking approval from other organizations as well and plans to offer the workshop at nationwide locations shortly throughout the United States.
