Orange County's Only TEM Asbestos Testing Laboratory Receives NVLAP Accreditation

LOS ALAMITOS, CALIFORNIA, Jul. 29 -/E-Wire/-- LA Testing is now accepting samples at their Los Alamitos, CA laboratory. The firm has just received accreditation from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) by NVLAP for TEM analysis of airborne asbestos fibers. After recently acquiring the Laboratory division of Health Science Associates (H.S.A.) of Los Alamitos, CA, LA Testing has started construction for the future home of the laboratory. With anticipated growth and expansion of services requiring additional lab space, LA Testing has announced that the new state of the art 9,000 square foot laboratory will be located right accross the street at 10772 Noel Street, Los Alamitos, CA should be completed within two to three months. Clients should still send their samples to the current lab address at 10771 Noel Street, Los Alamitos, CA until further notice.

The Los Alamitos laboratory is a fully AIHA Accredited laboratory which currently provides Industrial Hygiene, Microbiology, Lead, Asbestos and Particle Identification Lab Services. Its current location is 10771 Noel Street, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. The Operation will be managed by Ms. Jaime Steedman-Lyde, CIH, who has Lab Director Experience with H.S.A. as well as with EMSL, and will greatly enhance this transition for the employees, companies, and current clients.
