Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance Adds Two New Board Members
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, Nov. 29 -/E-Wire/-- The Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors, Ms. Sarah Else and Ms. Susie Komornik.
Ms. Else, director of Energy Efficiency Programs for Alliant Energy, stated, "I am honored to serve a more integral role as part of the MEEA team. Their commitment to forming coalitions, providing the most current energy efficiency related information and leadership in market transformation is unparalleled."
Susie Komornik previously served on the MEEA board and was re-appointed, due to a vacancy, based on her commitment to the organization and her years of experience in the energy efficiency industry. Ms. Komornik is a senior associate of the Cadmus Group where she works closely with EPA's Energy Star programs to promote consumer awareness and partner participation.
"Both Sarah and Susie bring a wealth of experience in serving on non-profit boards." said Alecia Ward, executive director of MEEA. "Their skills in board governance and fundraising are a strong addition to an already impressive board."
Other board members represent an important and diverse range of leadership, management and financial skills in the energy and energy efficiency fields including regulatory agencies, energy efficiency groups, energy consultants, utilities, research and development, and business.
