Castrol and Earth's 911 Kick-off Oil Recycling Month

CALIFORNIA, LA PUENTE, Apr. 4 -/E-Wire/-- USED OIL DRIVE

WHAT: An opportunity for Los Angeles area residents to be part of the solution by participating in a USED OIL DRIVE.

The first 50 people who bring their used oil to be recycled will receive a John Force autographed Castrol GTX t-shirt, and there will be free giveaway items for everyone who participates.

Castrol will also make a donation to the Surfrider Foundation based on the amount of oil received.

BACKGROUND: Castrol has joined forces with Earth's 911, the nation's official environmental information network, on a variety of initiatives designed to help raise awareness on the importance of oil recycling. To help kick off the partnership, Castrol and Earth's 911 have declared April to be Oil Recycling Month. Throughout the month, Castrol and Earth's 911 will be conducting one-day "Oil Drives" in select cities, encouraging consumers to make a difference and recycle their motor oil. Additional Oil Drives are scheduled for Memphis, Atlanta, and Boston.
