FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

NVID Receives Order for Drinking Water Disinfection

'Synergistic Disinfection Technologies Control Broader Spectrum Of Microbes'

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, Apr. 17 -/E-Wire/-- NVID International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:NVID) today announced that purchase orders and funds have been received for the sale, installation and service of ionic disinfection and automated chlorination systems for drinking water disinfection from a luxury hotel chain in Hamilton, Bermuda. Per the request of the client, the name of the hotel is respectfully being withheld. ADVERTISEMENT

The order is for NVID's RMS ("Reservoir Metering System') U.S. Patent No. 6,017,461 ionization system, and PPG's Accu-Tab(TM) Automatic Chlorination System that dispenses NSF Standard 61 approved calcium hypochlorite tablets. Both systems are designed for drinking water disinfection, and will be installed in approximately two weeks by Westlund Engineering, which is NVID's associate engineering company that manufactures and installs the RMS ionization systems.

David Larson, NVIDs' President commented, "Management of the hotel recognize the critical need to provide their guests the finest and safest in water disinfection. The RMS ionization system and the PPG Accu-Tab(TM) system are synergistic disinfection technologies for disinfecting drinking water, and are ideally compatible where a low chlorine residual must be maintained per local health code standards. The RMS ionization system insures a broader spectrum of control and kill against microbes and bio-film related disinfection issues, with an efficacy greater than chlorine alone.'

The U.S. patented RMS ionization systems deliver ionic silver, and or ionic copper ions utilizing proprietary assayed electrodes for drinking water disinfection and other niche disinfection markets. The ion concentrate is metered into the process water by dosing pumps based upon flow rates, which insures a precise dosage of a long-term, thermally stable, ionic disinfecting residual in PPB (parts-per-billion).

Target markets for NVID's patented ionization disinfection technologies include; hospital and nursing home water systems, point-of-use / point-of-entry; municipal, commercial and residential drinking water systems, FDA compliant consumer products, pools / spas, cisterns / wells, veterinary, horticulture, agriculture and food processing applications.
