Pinecrest Investment Group Announces Contract With Catarino Enterprises

FLORIDA, TAMPA, Apr. 17 -/E-Wire/-- David B. Howe, President and CEO of Pinecrest Investment Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PNCR), a Florida corporation located in Tampa, Florida ("Pinecrest'), announced today that the Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Pinecrest Farms, Inc., has signed a marketing contract with Catarino Enterprises. Roger J. Catarino is the president of Catarino Enterprises and for 30 years has held senior positions with Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi-Cola, and Grayson Mountain Water Co. Mr. Catarino has an Executive MBA from Harvard University in addition to a degree in Psychology.

David B. Howe stated, "We are going after world class talent. This contract is the first of many steps to build a world class management structure.'

Mr. Catarino stated that, "What Pinecrest has developed amounts to a shift in the way the produce industry will do business in the future. Pinecrest's pesticide-free process of nutriponics(tm) can be replicated by Pinecrest anywhere in the world. We expect to aid Pinecrest in developing alternative distribution methods that will revolutionize this industry.'
