DynaMotive Partners with Orenda Turbines To Supply Integrated

CANADA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, VANCOUVER, May. 29 -/E-Wire/-- DynaMotive Technologies Corporation (OTCBB: DYMTF) announced today that its European subsidiary, DynaMotive Europe Limited has entered into a formal Collaboration Agreement, whereby Orenda will supply a 2.5 MW GT 2500 pyrolysis liquid fired gas turbine generator package and auxiliaries.

DynaMotive and Orenda Turbines, part of Magellan Aerospace Corporation (TSE: MAL) are working together to build and commission in the UK an integrated BioOil-to-power package as part of the Demonstration Project which received support from the UK's Department of Trade and Industry in the form of a pnds stlg 1.16 million grant previously announced. Under the agreement, Orenda will provide a 2.5 MW power island to the project on the condition that if the commercial potential is successfully demonstrated, the power island will be purchased by the project company.

Furthermore, based on the market potential and DynaMotive's contract portfolio, Orenda Turbines is working on projects to provide greater capacity for its turbines through power augmentation techniques and adaptation of a 16 MW turbine to BioOil.

Commenting on the development, Andrew Kingston, President and Chief Executive Officer of DynaMotive said, "This is a major milestone in the development of our relationship with Orenda Turbines. Orenda has supported steadfastly the development of BioOil powered power packages. We have been working closely with Mr. Frank Button and his team to reach this juncture. We are encouraged by the potential of gaining efficiencies in scale through power augmentation and the development of higher capacity turbines which we expect would translate in significant economies in the exploitation of DynaMotive's 69 MW of projects currently in its portfolio."

Commenting on the agreement, Frank Button, Orenda's General Manager said, "After 3 to 4 years of research and development we are excited about the market opportunities that this initial installation will provide. This is a very good business opportunity and an environmentally friendly method of power generation using renewable energy sources. We are very happy to be involved in this project."

DynaMotive Technologies Corporation is an energy systems company that is a world leader in the development of technology to produce competitively priced BioOil liquid fuels from renewable and non-depleting biomass. As a clean fuel to replace natural gas, diesel and other fossil fuels to produce power and heat in industrial boilers, gas turbines and diesel engines, BioOil presents significant market opportunities that DynaMotive intends to exploit commercially. The Company and its partners are also engaged in research and development on a range of derivative products that, if successful, could potentially further enhance the market and value for BioOil as an alternative fuel and product source.
