American Utilicraft's FF-1080 Feeder Aircraft Offers Solution To Terrorist Cargo Threats on U.S. Passenger Airplanes
In Response to Vice President Dick Cheney's CNN Interview Comments Concerning Acts of Terrorism Against Targets Within U.S. Borders
GEORGIA, LAWRENCEVILLE, May. 29 -/E-Wire/-- American Utilicraft Corporation (OTC BB:AMUC), the singular leader in fulfillment and distribution in the short haul route segments
of air cargo, today announced that in response to the U.S. government's concern for
international terrorists transporting life threatening devices and materials into the
U.S. on cargo and passenger airlines, the Company plans to propose a solution
utilizing its newly developed FF-1080-20 Freight Feeder Aircraft.
The aircraft provides, through it proprietary design and systems, greater control
over the movement of international cargo in the U.S.
Retired Air Force General L.W. Svendsen, Vice President of American Utilicraft, stated, "The FF-1080 aircraft is ideally suited to solve the problem of terrorists
targeting U.S. passenger airlines. The removal of international freight operations
from domestic passenger flights could substantially reduce the significant risk we
face while concurrently providing the controls to monitor the cargo shipped, its
location, destination and time of delivery.
"American Utilicraft's FF-1080 can completely remove international cargo from the
bellies of U.S. passenger airlines,' Svendsen concluded.
The FF-1080-200 is a dedicated freight aircraft that is specifically designed to move
as much as 6 tons of freight in LD-3 (lower deck containers) from wide-body aircraft
to the smaller airports around the country. AMUC concluded that the FF-1080 could
provide airlines a cost-effective manner to remove international cargo from all U.S.
domestic flights, allowing closer screening of all freight moving in the U.S., as well
as removing the potential danger from domestic passenger flights. The FF-1080-200
aircraft eliminates truck road travel time, virtually eliminating exposure to
dangerous cargo to drivers on U.S. highways.
In a recent interview with CNN, Vice President Dick Cheney indicated that the U.S.
needs better planning and preparation for potential acts of terrorism against targets
within its borders and that he will head the task force to affect the needed changes.
The Vice President stated he expected the Federal Emergency Management Administration
(FEMA) to become involved along with military authorities and intelligence agencies.
According to Vice President Cheney's plan, FEMA's role will be expanded to include an
active role in ascertaining and handling the effects of terrorist threats with U.S.
U.S. Government support of the FF-1080-200 utility transport aircraft will provide
FEMA with needed additional airlift to fulfill its responsibility for disaster relief
and post-terrorism logistics, such as the Oklahoma City Bombing. FF-1080-200's in the
U.S. airline fleet can be readily pressed into service to provide flexible,
inexpensive, airlift with the ability to use the smallest airports, interstate
highways and un-improved fields as runways at a moment's notice.
Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman, Ted Stevens, in the same CNN interview,
commented that airlines inspect every single passenger and their baggage, however,
tons of freight enters the U.S. without inspection and is carried on U.S. passenger
