ENSR Names John Nagy Director of EHS Management Services

ENSR Takes Further Steps to Provide Seamless EHS Services to Multinational Clients

WESTFORD, MASSACHUSETTS, Jun. 13 -/E-Wire/-- ENSR International, a leading environmental consulting firm, has named John Nagy as Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Services (EMS). In this newly created position, Mr. Nagy will be responsible for the strategic development of the EMS service line for ENSR. This appointment unites the EMS initiatives of ENSR's offices under common leadership.

In the global marketplace, industrial companies are subject to increased pressure to improve and standardize their EHS metrics and performance. The use of global EHS management systems, such as the ISO 14001 standard, satisfies the public's desire for "green products" and the multinational corporation's need for universally accepted measures. With Mr. Nagy's leadership, ENSR's EMS practitioners will use proprietary audit and process improvement tools to help multinational clients meet stakeholder expectations and EHS compliance issues cost-effectively.

"ENSR's team of environmental, health and safety professionals has worked closely and cooperatively since the start of the company in 1968", said Mr. Nagy. "Highly coordinated planning for our EMS programs will enhance ENSR's ability to provide quick response to our client's evolving needs and consistent service in EHS management system, auditing, and compliance support services to our clients."

Mr. Nagy has more than 23 years of EHS management experience, including management positions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Waste Management Inc. He is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) and a past President of the Environmental Auditing Roundtable. Mr. Nagy is based in ENSR's Warrenville, IL (Chicago) office.

According to Kathy Anderson, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, "EHS management is an integral part of our clients' operations that cuts across every one of their business units. For this reason, ENSR has incorporated EMS as a key component of our account management strategy. Our ability to provide seamless services for the full range of our clients' environmental, health, and safety needs will ensure that ENSR builds lasting relationships with every level of our clients' EHS organization."
