DynaMotive and Tecna Enter Into Alliance Partnership
To Develop BioOil Installations Worldwide
CANADA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, VANCOUVER, Jun. 27 -/E-Wire/-- DynaMotive Technologies Corporation (OTCBB: DYMTF) announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance partnership with a major South American based engineering firm, Tecna SA (Tecna) to develop commercial energy systems based on DynaMotive's pyrolysis technology. The agreement provides for an investment by Tecna in the equity of DynaMotive along with a commitment by Tecna to provide large scale technical support and the alliance envisages establishment of a joint technical committee for the scale-up integration and construction supervision of projects worldwide.
Commenting on the agreement, Andrew Kingston, President and Chief Executive Officer of DynaMotive said, "This is a breakthrough partnership for DynaMotive as it provides engineering procurement and construction (EPC) capabilities that when added to DynaMotive's knowledge base, puts us in a position to effectively market and license our technology worldwide. Tecna is a major engineering and construction company in Latin America that has a proven track record as an EPC contractor in the energy sector, delivering high quality installations and providing project completion guarantees for multinational energy companies including BP Amoco, Total, YPF (National Argentine Oil Company) and Petrobras (Brazil's national oil company). We look forward to building our first integrated plant with Tecna in the near future."
Commenting on the agreement, Ricardo Altube, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tecna said, "We are committed at both a corporate and at a personal level to DynaMotive to making its technology a marketable solution to produce greenhouse-gas-neutral energy. DynaMotive's pyrolysis technology is a smart idea, a clean solution and is cost effective. It's a winner and Tecna has already placed all necessary resources to make this happen."
DynaMotive Technologies Corporation is an energy systems company that is a world leader in the development of technology to produce competitively priced BioOil liquid fuels from renewable and non-depleting biomass. The Company and its partners are also engaged in research and development on a range of derivative products that, if successful, could potentially further enhance the market and value for BioOil as an alternative fuel and product source.
