FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Itronics Featured in Golf Course Management
The Premier Publication for the Nation's Golf Course Superintendents
NEVADA, RENO, Feb. 14 -/E-Wire/-- Itronics Inc. (OTC BB: ITRO), a world leader in photochemical recycling, has been featured in a story in Golf Course Management, the official publication of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, which circulates to more than 37,700 golf course superintendents and landscape management professionals monthly.
Writing about how Itronics turns photowastes into an environmentally beneficial fertilizer for golf courses and horticultural uses, Don Curlee, author of the article, says: "Golf courses are a leading player in putting this waste to good use, and in the Nevada lexicon, they (Itronics) look like odds-on favorites to become a big winner."
The story quotes two California golf superintendents on how useful Itronics' Gold'n Gro fertilizer has proven at their courses. The first superintendent praises Itronics' product for how quickly it deepens the color of the greens at his course. The second superintendent quoted in the article praises Gold'n Gro for its environmental benefits.
"The liquid material, called Gold'n Gro, is enjoying wide use in environmentally sensitive Southern California and along the state's central coast and valley," Mr. Curlee writes.
"We are pleased that the major magazine for golf course superintendents has taken such a close, careful look at our products and has chosen to present them to their readers," said Dr. John Whitney, Itronics President.
Itronics Inc. is one of Nevada's leading process technology development companies and a world leader in photochemical recycling. Headquartered in Reno, Nevada, it specializes in recycling technology development, photochemical recycling, silver refining, fertilizer manufacturing, and technical services for the mining and recycling industries.
