Itronics Schedules Annual Meeting for Dec. 5 in Reno, Nevada

NEVADA, RENO, Oct. 24 -/E-Wire/-- Itronics Inc. (OTC BB: ITRO) announced today that its Board of Directors has scheduled the annual shareholders‚ meeting for 10:00 A.M., December 5, 2001 in Reno, Nevada.

The meeting and a reception will be held at the Atlantis Casino Resort Reno, 3800 South Virginia Street, Room E, Reno, Nevada 89502. Shareholders of record as of October 26, 2001 will be entitled to vote on all matters that appropriately come before the meeting.

The reception is planned for 5:30 p.m. at which an award will be presented to Itronics for being selected as one of the five finalists for the prestigious Kirkpatrick Chemical Engineering Achievement Award. The award is issued every two years to the most noteworthy chemical engineering technology in the world.
