Victor Industries, Inc., Provides Sales Projections And Patent Filing Date
MISSOULA, MONTANA, Oct. 30 -/E-Wire/-- Victor Industries, Inc. (OTCBB:VICI) is pleased to announce that it anticipates the first in a series of patent pending filings on our revolutionary fertilizer battery in the very near future. "Our patent attorney is estimating that the first in a series of filings will be made Thursday, November 1." Said Richard Leary, Director of Marketing for the Company. "He has been very thorough in the patent search and though the wait has been frustrating we feel confident in our position."
"With the patent filings finally completed we will be able to focus our efforts on production and sales and we wanted to let our shareholders know what this will mean for them," said Penny Sperry, President of Victor Industries, Inc. "We are continuing our research efforts to drive our cost of production down and that will be reflected in our margins as we go forward. However, those efforts are largely in place and management can now look forward to beginning construction on our first production facility. Our business plan projects opening ten facilities over the next year."
PRODUCTION ASSUMPTIONS
Given the above assumptions Victor Industries, Inc., should generate:
Gross Revenues $4,800,000
Gross Profit $3,600,000
"Until we feel that distributors are warranted, we believe that one could multiply the numbers from our first production facility and arrive at our total revenues and gross profit by the number of facilities we build. It is estimated that one hundred and thirty four million tons of fertilizer was used in 1999. One percent of the market would be 1.34 million tons which would require 335 production facilities," continued Sperry.
For example, 10 facilities would generate the following:
Gross Revenues $48,000,000
Gross Profit $36,000,000
The management of Victor Industries, Inc., is currently taking steps that can drive our cost of production down to $200 per ton. This will require additional capital outlays. However, the management of VICI believes that the size of the market justifies the expenditure.
Victor Industries, Inc., has made the decision to focus on the fertilizer market first as it is the quickest route to cash flow. However, the market for absorbing nutrients from large animal feeding operations and municipal waste systems while simultaneously producing an organic slow-release fertilizer is our longer-term goal.
