DynaMotive Announces Favorable Technical Opinion by NRCAN on its Biomass Pyrolysis Technology

Ruling Provides Significant Tax Incentives for Investment in Canadian Project

CANADA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, VANCOUVER, Nov. 27 -/E-Wire/-- DynaMotive Energy Systems Corporation (OTCBB: DYMTF) announced today that Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN) has provided a Technical Opinion confirming that DynaMotive's pyrolysis technology is eligible to receive treatment as renewable energy equipment under Schedule II, Class 43.1 of the Canadian Income Tax Act. The ruling enables the Company's technology to be utilized in a Canadian biomass project, and will enable project investors to receive substantial tax benefits.

The tax benefits available to investors in the project include: Canadian Renewable Conservation Expense (CRCE) deductions under Sections 66 and 66.1 of the Income Tax Act, as well as deductions from accelerated depreciation of the Schedule II, Class 43.1 equipment utilized in the project. The CRCE component of the Income Tax Act also allows for the issuance of flow-through shares, whereby investors can deduct 100% of their investment in the year it was made, attracting more favourable terms for project finance.
