DynaMotive Energy Systems Enters into Financing Arrangement with Neoventi, One of its Founding Investors, for $ 1,600,000
Announces Appointment of CFO
CANADA, Feb. 20 -/E-Wire/-- DynaMotive Energy Systems Corporation (OTCBB: DYMTF) announced today that it has appointed Mr. G. Jack MacDonald, CFA, seconded at EcoSecurities, as Chief Financial Officer and that it has entered into an agreement with Neoventi Technology Corporation, one of DynaMotiveââ¬â¢s founding institutional investors, whereby Neoventi has agreed to invest up to $ 1,600,000 in the Company over a period of six months at a market determined price between $ 0.40 and $ 0.80 cents per share. Neoventi has been given registration rights respecting these securities.
Mr. MacDonald has acted as a financial advisor to DynaMotive over the past five months as part of EcoSecurities services and has been pivotal in the development of a comprehensive financial strategy to lead DynaMotive to full commercialization of its renewable energy technology. Neoventiââ¬â¢s commitment is the first phase in this strategy and is viewed as a strong vote of confidence in the Company and its direction. Mr. MacDonald replaces Mr. Steve Ives as CFO. Mr. Ives will continue to serve on DynaMotiveââ¬â¢s board of directors .
